“ as an independent, privately owned company and one of the largest UK refractory producers, we understand the importance of delivering excellence. We needed a training company who would be equal to this task, flexible and excellent in delivery. We believe that management-matters offers us the excellence and expertise we need to develop our people to be the very best.”

Assertiveness Training |
 |
The receptionist team at the Stewart Medical Centre in Buxton had a very informative and enjoyable day with Netta Christie. The theme for the training was "assertiveness" but the receptionists found that the training covered a very wide range of issues that they face on a day to day basis in a busy environment.
I would certainly have no hesitation in booking Netta for future training sessions as she provides training of a very high standard that people can easily relate to and implement in the workplace.

Wendy Dean of
Baby Sleep Answers
talks about her experiences with
Management-Matters |
I have recently established an e-commerce site called www.babysleepanswers.co.uk. The site is aimed at parents of babies and young children who are having difficulty with night time waking.
The Input
Netta of Management-Matters has been involved in the business from the very earliest stage. She has advised on business planning, marketing and public relations. She has also acted as my business mentor.
The Result
As a result of the advice, guidance and mentoring my confidence has grown. I am now pitching my business in a variety of arenas that I would not have considered without her input. She has saved me a great deal of time by refocusing my effort on the things that really matter i.e. the purpose of the company. By making me go into the ‘Dragons Den’ I have been able to make the right decisions to increase my sales.
Working Relationship
On a personal level, Netta is a delight to work with. She is never patronising, thinks there is no such thing as a stupid question and can quell over- enthusiasm without stifling talent. She is a delight

Wendy has shown the type of entrepreneurial zeal that no-one can really teach or train but it is great to see a business, especially one we support, receiving such accolades! Now you know the Dragon’s Den was worth it!
Health Journalist of the Year 2007 and resident doctor of ITV's This Morning, Dr Chris Steele has heaped praise on The Baby Sleep System and on the support offered by the Baby Sleep Answers forum.
"The Baby Sleep System is a great book full of common sense advice for parents of babies who won't sleep though the night. Combined with the online support, it offers a lifeline to desperate parents - I wish Wendy Dean the best of luck."
"I wish this book had been available 30 years ago when we started our family, as we had years of baby sleep problems with our children!" |
